About the event
As survivors, we often relate to stories of trauma from the role of the victim or the perpetrator. But what if there’s another way? What if healing from harm exists somewhere in between and outside of this binary? This experiential session will engage the connection between body and memory to explore how we embody our stories and how we can begin to relate to them in new and different ways.
Tickets include morning coffee and tea time for community building before the workshop and supper with vegan/vegetarian options after. Enjoy the opportunity to support local healing vendors at 2:00 PM. Coupons will be available to purchase healing products!
15% of proceeds go to Shumi Land Tax to benefit native land rematriation. The rest supports the cost of future workshops for those who cannot pay full price.
This is not a replacement for therapy. Our workshops invite participants to explore some emotionally tender content. By attending this event you assure that you’re emotionally supported and resourced enough to engage without threatening your own or others’ safety.
